Grants can also be used to help supply:

  • Families in need apply to their local school professionals for help from Thursday Girls Noosa.

  • The Thursday Girls Noosa Committee reviews and approves these applications. Grants of less than $400 which meet the criteria are typically approved promptly, while grants exceeding $400 require committee approval.

Due to our smaller size, we rarely allocate funds exceeding $1,000, except in exceptional circumstances.

Money is paid directly to the school.

For parents and caregivers

We are proud to support students who attend primary and secondary schools across the Noosa Shire.

If you require assistance, please find your school in the list and contact a relevant school professional — such as a principal, teacher, counsellor, or school chaplain — who can apply for a grant on your behalf.

Families in need access support through their local schools, with applications submitted to Thursday Girls Noosa by school professionals.

In special circumstances we also liaise with local community groups for families in need.
